Who are you?

 “I am Inna Babaeva, a visual artist based in New York City. I was born in Ukraine. After moving to the  US, I earned a graduate degree in Fine Arts from Rutgers University.  I work in a medium of sculpture and site specific installation, using various materials like wood, plastic, fabric, foam and metal, as well as ready-made industrial products and objects (casters, hinges, buckets, air ducts, fan blades, bicycle wheels, etc.)”

“ Succinct Advancement”. This is a site specific installation that varies depending on a space into which it is placed. It is probably the most minimal in its expressive means, yet the most visually eloquent of my recent works”

Have you a place where you expose? What are your future projects? Exhibitions, events, jobs, new collections to show…

“I have been showing in the galleries, museums and alternative art spaces around the United States.  At the moment, I am preparing for two group shows in New York. I am also working on  a site specific installation that I proposed to an art foundation and I hope for a good reception.”
